To this day, the East Sandringham Junior Football Club proudly remains what it has always been at heart — a junior football club dedicated to developing young players, building character, and fostering a lifelong love of the game. For more than seven decades, the Club has focused on giving local boys and girls the opportunity to learn, compete and grow in a supportive community environment. A thrilling encounter saw the Roos come from behind to secure a crucial 1 point victory. Down by 12 points at halftime, captain Jake Morrison sparked the comeback with a brilliant individual goal in the late in the 3rd quarter. Young gun winger Tommy Chen sealed the win with a spectacular off-the-ground finish in the dying minutes. The defensive effort from Mike Stevens and Danny Walsh was outstanding, making crucial tackles when it mattered most.

The East Sandringham Junior Football Club is still welcoming players across many age groups for the 2026 season. We urgently require about five girls for our U11 team (2015 to 2017). No football experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a desire to have fun.
