Goal Netting Completion
August 14, 2026

Duncan Street End Goal Netting is now Complete

The Duncan Street goal netting installation was started and completed in late July 2026. These goals are located in the main carparking area and the netting provides an important barrier to prevent footballs leaving the field. This netting helps improve safety of our players; especially our younger during training who would often jump the fence to retrieve balls amongst traffic.

This long-term project started in the 2025 season when the committee all agreed this was urgently needed. The project involved many committee members with special mentions to Ant, Jane, and Justin for really driving the project. Reaching the completion milestone required a lot of planning, council approvals, procurement, grant applications, fund raising, and project management.
